How financing works

Step 1

Check your options

Answer a few questions on Acorn Finance's secure form. It takes about two minutes and uses a soft credit check, so your score is not affected.

Step 2

Compare real offers

You see the amounts, rates, and terms you pre-qualify for from multiple lending partners, side by side. Nothing is locked in until you choose.

Step 3

Pick your offer, we start the work

Continue with the lender you like. They fund you directly, and you pay Orca on our normal schedule — same written proposal, same crew, same warranty.

Plan the project. Compare the financing.

Financing is provided by third-party lenders through Acorn Finance. Compare the offers available to you and review the lender’s amount, APR, repayment term, and any fees before choosing an offer.

More room to plan your project

Do the whole project, not half of it

The most common regret we hear is splitting an exterior into two seasons. Prep and setup get paid for twice, and the two halves never quite match.

Keep the finish you actually wanted

Premium products and proper prep are where a paint job's lifespan comes from. Spreading the cost is usually cheaper than repainting sooner.

Handle it on your schedule

Storm damage, a move-in date, or a listing deadline does not wait for a savings plan. Checking options costs nothing and takes minutes.

Questions

Straight answers before you start.

No. Pre-qualifying uses a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. If you decide to move forward and continue to a lender's own application, that lender will complete a hard credit inquiry at that point.

Financing is provided by third-party lenders through Acorn Finance. Orca Painting Company LLC is not a lender, does not make credit decisions, and does not set your rate or terms. All financing is subject to credit approval, and not all applicants will qualify.

Loan amounts range from $1,000 to $100,000. Repayment terms range from 2 to 20 years. APRs range from 6.49% to 35.99% and depend on your creditworthiness, the loan amount and term, and the lending partner you select. Some lenders charge an origination fee, which is disclosed by that lender before you accept an offer. Rates shown are as of July 29, 2026 and are subject to change without notice.

Representative example: $10,000 financed at 9.99% APR over 60 months, $0 down, is 60 monthly payments of $212.42, for a total of payments of $12,745.27. This is an example only; your APR, payment, and term will differ.

Pre-qualification uses a soft credit inquiry and does not affect your credit score. Continuing to a lender's full application authorizes that lender to complete a hard credit inquiry. Pre-qualification is not a commitment to lend.
